Assault on Precinct 13
and then i spent my saturday night with usual friends, going out to have dinner at
Sophia , then considering that we already validated Metcards (public transportation ticket) that would be expired until 2 am, we decided to go to watch movie after that .. we went to JamFactory, not Crown this time, JamFac is closer, to watch

first i dunno what this movie's about .. i didn't watch any trailer .. i didn't read any reviews .. then i heard that this movie's about police .. and sometimes police stories are boring for me , cause too much action, realizing that i don't really like movies that have too much action in it, but then after i watched this .. hmmm... this one's not bad .... it got a really intriguing storyline .. and the actions aren't just cheap actions .. The movie was about a cop played by Ethan Hawke, he was a undercover cop who lost his partners (showed at first scene of the movie) and he feels that the lost of his partners is his fault. So he turns to drugs and alcohol to forget what happen. He ended up getting a desk job at the small precinct then on the night of new years eve that actually will be shut down after that so some of the officers there held a party .. then the scene moved to a gangster played by Laurence Fishburne (that black guy on the poster) that actually usually killed bad cops (u know that there are some cops who act like a good men but actually they made some bad deals with crime ?) .. and yes this character, Bishop , one day was arrested and got in jail , but while he was being transferred with 3 other criminals, there was snow storm (remember it's new year's eve and it's still snowing in USA, right?) and the jail transfer bus have to stop at that 13th precinct ..
this Bishop guy, was happened to go to the court for some days after that, then it's found out that if he managed to go to the court, he will be asked about his crime, right ? then all the crimes made by those bad cops will be revealed, right ? so those bad cops are trying to kill him .. hmm.. so this precinct is surrounded by top-level cops .. so that's why i said the actions aren't really cheap .. not just 'dor dor dor' everywhere .. but also they got skills for that ..
for my recommendations, i like this movie .. it's not boring, although the storyline is played one night !! seems like a long night .. but the conspiracies in it, make this movie intriguing .. and also i can't guess what would happen next .. hmm.. i like this type of story .. makes me curious all the time .. so , this movie's
recently found out, that this movie is a remake from old movie on 1976 ? hmmm.. i'd like to watch the original one if i can get it ..
