aLmoSt a moVie maRaThon
hehehe.. my exams week for this semester is over .. time to relax everybody !! (although i only have 3 weeks holiday perhaps .. huh?) .. okay so review for my exams, well .. i'm not sure .. but i think they're not bad .. i still need miracles though, cause i wasn't fully prepared ..

please do happen .. hehehe .. can i hope for HDs ? hikshikshiks .. probably not .. hmm, there're also lots of things to do this holiday .. have to deal with those school's fees (which drives me crazy .. maybe i'll discuss later, cause it's a sad topic anyway, and i'm happy for today, sure i don't want to ruin it ..) and also have to extend my visa (which is very very troublesome .. huh ) well let's worried about them later okay hiks..
hmm .. what'll i do in the holiday ?
don't have any plan ..
probably just going around .. shopping ? hehehe .. and of course movie !! hahaha.. couldn't go to the cinema weeks ago .. cos of those exams and assignments .. so definitely i'll watch every movie i wanna watch this holiday ..
so .. so .. errr .. after i had my last exam on the monday morning , i was going out with
teresa and
renata , wandering around the city .. looking for good stuffs .. and i just end up with buying only 1 top and the $5 giordano bag haha.. only that simple white bag .. probably going only to use it for schools .. okay so anyway, for tuesday errr... i didn't go shopping cause teresa's on her way to her country in the morning , then the other girls were busy with their plans .. so i was thinking about watching movies .. it's tuesday anyway !!
the tickets are all half-price on tuesdays .. so on tuesdays we can watch 2 movies for 1 movie ticket price on another days ..
hurray hurray .. so the movies i watched were
Madagascar and
Mr. & Mrs. Smith ..
i think i made a promise to myself, not going to spend lots of money for movies ? .. got some warnings from my mom .. but can't help .. i like watching movies
2 movies in a row .. that's why the title is almost movie marathon .. hehebtw, i'd like to try movie marathon maybe sometimes .. how does it feel to watch 3 movies in a row ? well when i was a kid, there were old&new movies every new year's eve, starting from 11 pm maybe if i'm not mistaken , til 5 or 6 in the morning , 3 movies in a row .. i still remember, the cinema was used to give cheap umbrellas til a motorbike to those who were lucky their tickets were pulled on a draw .. i used to go with my family .. but there isn't any such things like that right now .. since that cinema was burned down years ago when there was a chaos .. and also cinema business in my city isn't really good right now, or i just think like that ?
okay .. first i watched
Madagascar on 4.30 pm .. it's another animation movie from dreamworks .. from the creator of
Shrek and
Shark Tale .. but i'd say don't expect too much from this movie, cause i think it's not as good as the former two movies .. but anyway it's quite entertaining .. not bad ..
This movie focuses on four residents and "stars" of the
Central Park Zoo in
New York City who are also best friends: a lion named
Alex (
Ben Stiller ), a zebra named
Marty (
Chris Rock ), a giraffe named
Melman (
David Schwimmer ) and a female hippo which i forgot her name .. arrrgh .. just remember it minutes ago and now i forgot ... So the basic storyline is, these animals were kept in the zoo since they were born so they never got any chance to feel what it's like to live in "
The Wild "
.. The one who wants to feels it is actually only Marty, so when he was daydreaming about it and also talked to his friends, they thought he was stupid .. Haha you know they were treated really well by the zookeepers .. one hilarious scene here .. There were 4 penguins, who were wanting to go to Antartica .. psycho penguins hahaha.. So on their way digging down the soil, they happened to come out on Marty's cage once and their efforts made Marty's more dreaming about it .. About living in
The Wild i mean ..Okay so anyway, at night, after Marty's bday party, Marty left the zoo .. Then the other three break out of the zoo looking for him, made the citizens scared and eventually all four are captured and put in boxes to ship them back to the continent their species are originally from :
Africa. An accident at sea, however, strands them on the shore of
Madagascar. Having had humans take care of them their entire life, the four know nothing of surviving in the wild, or that one of them, the lion, is genetically predisposed to eat his three best friends. Exploring their surroundings, the four friends soon meet the Malagasy locals (a type of lemur given to having loud "rave-like" dance parties) and their carnivorous enemies, the fousas. As the two sides try to use these four new, strange (and large) friends to their benefit, our heroes are also confronted with the reality of their predestined roles in nature.
Actually, the cute one is one of the lemurs ..
the young one in the middle .. uuuuuhhh.. cuteeee....
well then, anyway the storyline is about those four animals finally get stranded in Madagascar ..
although i said, don't expect too much from this movie, doesn't mean this movie's boring .. don't get it wrong hehe.. it's quite funny .. but well not as funny as Shrek 2 .. not as inspiring as Shark Tale .. it's just so-so good .. not bad .. but only watch it if you do like animation movies (which i do, that's why i watched it) ... if i had to choose between Madagascar and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, i like
Mr. & Mrs. Smith better ..
yeah yeah .. you all know what this movie is about .. 2 professional assasins,
John & Jane Smith , married, but barely know each other very well .. opening and ending scene are funny though .. cause they are taking marriage counselling, the opening shows how bad their relationship is .. in the end, they managed to have great relationship ..
okay so they're assasins .. they lied about each others' jobs ... then one day, they got same job .. same target .. and they happened to ruin each plan .. then they're trying to kill each other, which in the end, they couldn't do it .. but next they become the target of errr.. i dunno, looks like big company, like executive SWAT or something like that .. and they found out that the target they were trying to kill was just bait for them killing each other (or i think so ?) .. so they gotta choose, if they decided to separate, they need to kill each other .. if they're together, they'd be hunted ..
they worked together anyway ..
so happy ending movie .. hehehe..
i like it better .. really .. they're really funny, yeah Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are .. they looked great in the movie ..
i used to not really like Angelina's movies .. but she looks great in this movie ..
hmm.. great legs .. sexy body .. wew big boops .. sexy looks ewww .. well i know all that of course.. but hmm, really she's fabulous in this one .. no wonder why Brad's falling for her :P
like i said before .. i like this better .. yeah it's an action movie .. lots of fighting scenes .. hehe, but the director's able to put some comedy in each scene .. great .. at first i didn't expect that it'd turn like this, cause well i already knew the storyline and watched some clips before i watched it, so i at first i thought i'd get bored during the movie.. but it didn't happen .. so i think it's really worthwatching ...
of course you have to watch it .. after those rumours and scandals between Pitt and Jolie, and all magazines are reporting about their lovelife now .. about Jennifer Aniston's heartbreaking .. hehehe.. i definitely don't want to miss it ..
and i'm quite satisfied with it , although maybe i won't watch it for 10 times..
so.. what's next to do ? shopping again ? movie again ? hmm...
Paris Hilton's not totally good-for-nothing .. at least she really is pretty, right?, don't deny it ..
and i just think, her new
Paris Hilton perfume smells quite nice .. although the bottle's so simple .. the smell is nice .. hmm.. maybe i'll get one .. try to save some money first ..
